Sega Na Leqa!

Our Fiji family arrived safely after a long day and night of traveling and finally united with Julia in Nadi.

Upon arriving, we hopped onto two small planes and jet-set to the lush garden island of Taveuni. Despite being tired and jet-lagged, our group ate breakfast and made its way to the International Date Line, followed by a short hike to a series of natural water slides. Refreshed and energized, we participated in a group orientation and then enjoyed our first full meal together at a restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

On our second day in Fiji, we took a boat out to Rainbow Reef, one of the best snorkeling and diving spots in the world. There, we saw Fijian clown fish, trigger fish, angel fish, and all types of coral. Our divers even saw a black-tipped reef shark! A sunset walk on the beach made for the perfect ending to an amazing day.

Tomorrow is our last full day in Taveuni before we go to Qamea. We are excited to spend it walking on the coastline to some beautiful waterfalls. Now enjoy some photos from these amazing experiences!
