Rainbows and Waves

Bula!

It’s been a busy and wild first few days in Fiji.

On our first full day we awoke to a double rainbow and had the amazing opportunity to snorkel and dive at the famous Rainbow Reef, where saw sharks, clown fish, angel fish, and an incredible amount of beautiful diverse coral. We wrapped our day up with a beautiful sunset, live music, and food over looking the ocean. (What a way to celebrate Carly’s sweet 16!)

In preparation for the village, we grocery shopped and sulu shopped. The students then experienced their first bumpy boat ride to the island of Quamea, where we were welcomed like family to the village of Togo.

Stay tuned this week for village life and service updates from the students themselves!
